Information we collect

When you submit the Request an Assignment form, contact us on WhatsApp, call us or email us, we collect:

• Your name.
• Your phone or WhatsApp number, and your email address where you provide it.
• Your preferred contact method.
• The general location or area of the assignment. You are not required to give an exact address to submit a request.
• Your description of what you need handled, including assignment, property or project details, preferred timing and any budget indication you choose to give.
• Any files or documents you choose to upload. Uploads are optional and you decide what to share.
• A request reference, the date and time of submission, and the status of your request.

Why we collect it

We collect this information so that we can understand what you need, decide whether we can responsibly undertake it, contact you about it, prepare a scope and quotation, and manage and report on the assignment if one is agreed.

How we use it

• Assessing your request and its feasibility.
• Contacting you about assessment, scope, quotation and next steps.
• Coordinating and supervising the agreed assignment.
• Providing updates, evidence of progress and completion.
• Keeping internal records and meeting our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Data minimisation

We ask only for what is necessary at enquiry stage. Please do not send sensitive documents that are not needed to assess your request.

Sharing with third parties

To carry out an assignment we may need to share limited information with suppliers, contractors, service providers, professionals or authorities involved in that assignment. We share only what is necessary for the task, and we expect those parties to keep it confidential.

We also use trusted technology providers to host this website and store request submissions and uploaded files on our behalf. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not publish client, property or project information without permission.

Storage and security

Requests and uploaded files are stored in secure systems with restricted access. Submissions made through this website cannot be read publicly. Access is limited to HandledTZ team members who need it for the assignment. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and assignment records only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected for, and for any period required by law or by our accounting and record-keeping obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely archived.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or withdraw a request you have submitted. Write to hello@handledtz.co.tz and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Cookies and website technologies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not run third-party advertising or analytics profiling. Limited technical storage is used only to make the site work, and our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs. If we introduce analytics or other tracking in future, we will update this notice.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our services or systems change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
